Kathmandu : Dr. Rhea Bohra, a Nepali doctor based in the United States, played a key role in the three-member team that won the Osler Cup Award 2025 at the American College of Physicians (ACP) Doctor’s Dilemma competition—marking the first time a Nepali has contributed to a winning team in ACP’s history.
The competition, held in New Orleans, Louisiana, brought together 60 top Internal Medicine (IM) resident teams from countries including India, Japan, Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Over three days, participants competed in high-level clinical reasoning and medical knowledge challenges.
Dr. Bohra represented the American College of Massachusetts chapter and Saint Vincent Hospital. Her team’s outstanding performance earned international recognition for their institution and placed them among the leading names in global clinical education.
