Kathmandu. Nepal Distilleries Pvt. Ltd. (NDPL) continues to demonstrate its commitment to sustainable development by empowering marginalized sugarcane farmers through a comprehensive Capacity Enhancement Training program. Recognizing the vital role of agriculture in poverty reduction and economic growth, NDPL is dedicated to supporting sustainable agricultural practices within the communities it serves.
On 10th and 11th Mangsir 2081, NDPL organized informative orientation programs for sugarcane farmers in Biratnagar and Lalbandhi, Sarlahi. The Biratnagar event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the Chief Minister of Koshi Province, the Mayor of Biratnagar, the Chief District Officer (CDO) of Morang, and a member of the Koshi Province Planning Commission. In Lalbandhi, the Mayor of Lalbandhi inaugurated the program.
