Kathmandu – MAW Earthmovers Pvt. Ltd. and Global IME Bank Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate easier access to financing for modern equipment required in Nepal’s construction and infrastructure sectors.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Sanjay Dev Yadav, Head of F&R at MAW Earthmovers Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Narahari Silwal, Head of SME and Retail Banking at Global IME Bank Limited.

Under this partnership, customers interested in purchasing JCB construction equipment will be able to access a special hire-purchase loan facility through Global IME Bank’s branches. The Bank will provide financing of up to 80 percent based on the applicable Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio and in accordance with Nepal Rastra Bank directives.

To provide customers with faster service, the Bank will issue a Delivery Order (DO) within one week after all required documents have been submitted and the necessary procedures have been completed. Under this scheme, customers will be able to obtain loans with a tenure of up to five years for JCB equipment.

The partnership is expected to provide construction businesses, contractors and entrepreneurs with easier access to financing while making the equipment-purchase process faster and more convenient. The accessible loan facility and competitive financing arrangement are expected to help small and medium-sized businesses invest in modern JCB equipment and expand their operations.

The combination of JCB’s reliable equipment, MAW Earthmovers’ nationwide after-sales service network and Global IME Bank’s accessible financial services is expected to provide customers with a dependable solution covering equipment purchase, operation and maintenance.

MAW Earthmovers Pvt. Ltd. and Global IME Bank Limited have expressed their commitment to expanding more customer-friendly services in the coming days while prioritising customer convenience, business growth and the development of Nepal’s construction and infrastructure sectors.
