Kathmandu, Oct. 6 Global IME Bank Limited has promoted Deep Chandra Regmi to the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO).
The appointment was made by the bank’s Board of Directors.
Prior to this promotion, newly appointed DCEO Regmi served as the bank’s Assistant Chief Executive Officer.
Having started his banking career with Standard Chartered Bank Nepal in 2007, Regmi joined Global IME Bank in 2009.
Over his tenure, he has held key leadership roles across several critical functions, including Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Chief Lending Officer (CLO), and Head of Trade Operations. He has also served as the Chairman of Global IME Capital Limited.
Regmi holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, and Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. He is a Gold Medalist in his Bachelor in Information Management (BIM) from Tribhuvan University.
