Kathmandu. Foton Nepal proudly announces the launch of its best-in-class Mountain EV, celebrating a milestone with a record-breaking 100 deliveries upon its introduction. Specially crafted by Foton to meet Nepal’s unique terrain requirements, the Mountain EV features an industry-leading 53.58 kWh battery, providing a range of 300 km on a full charge (NDEC). Additionally, it boasts a peak power of 130 kWh, a maximum torque of 330 Nm, and an impressive 25% gradeability, making it the first of its kind in Nepal with these advanced features.
In an exciting statement, Vivek Sikaria expressed his enthusiasm: “Today, at MAW Vriddhi, we are thrilled to introduce the Foton Mountain EV Van—an innovative electric vehicle poised to revolutionize Nepal’s mobility landscape. The Mountain EV is available in configurations ranging from 14- to 16-seater models, providing a spacious, comfortable interior with a high roof for greater headroom.
